Prayer support. "On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, as you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many." 2 Corinthians 1:10-11.
I am trusting and expecting God to do great things at Mukinge, not because I am good, but because He is MIGHTY! The work at Mukinge is reliant on the Lord's continuous provision. Prayer is powerful and effective in God's work around the world. Will you commit to praying for me and for the what God is doing at Mukinge Hospital?
"Talking to men for God is a great thing, but talking to God for men is greater still." ~E.M. Bounds
Financial support (recurring or single gifts) can be given online at the World Medical Mission website (search for my name in the search bar) or can be sent to World Medical Mission, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607. Please put my name and project account number (004030) in the memo line. All donations are tax-deductible. Samaritan's Purse/World Medical Mission does not take any administrative fees, therefore 100% of your contribution will be available to me for ministry expenses and in further enabling me to do the work God has called me to at Mukinge Hospital.
How will your support be put to use?
I am going to Mukinge Hospital as part of the World Medical Mission (WMM) Post-Residency Program. World Medical Mission is the medical arm of Samaritan's Purse. The Post-Residency Program exists with the goal of enabling young physicians like myself who have a call to full-time medical missions to successfully make it to the mission field by bridging the gap between residency and overseas service. They facilitate helping Post-Residents discern God's leading to a specific location within their medical specialty. They provide pre-field training as well as ongoing support and mentorship while we're on the field. The Post-Residency Program is a two-year program, during which time World Medical Mission will provide the majority of my funding, including travel, housing, and living expenses. Your additional support will help cover additional costs, including in-country travel, continuing medical education (to maintain my surgical certification), monthly student loan payments, health insurance premium, and special ministry projects. Any funds raised over and above my monthly needs will assist me in purchasing a vehicle and will eventually be used to help me to return to the field more quickly after completing the Post-Residency Program in January 2016.
Would you prayerfully consider partnering with me?
